Aurora '26 is an intensive one-day hackathon challenging bright minds to build AI-powered solutions that address real humanitarian challenges — from healthcare and education to climate and accessibility.
Solutions must leverage artificial intelligence to create positive, measurable impact on human lives. We're looking for innovative applications of LLMs, computer vision, and predictive models that solve real-world problems and push the boundaries of what technology can do for society.
An intense, focused session of building and iterating. The clock starts at 9:30 AM sharp, pushing your rapid prototyping skills to the limit.

Improve healthcare accessibility, diagnostics, patient care, medical imaging, mental health, rural healthcare, drug discovery, and public health.
Personalized learning, accessibility, multilingual education, AI tutors, teacher support, career guidance, and adaptive learning.
Tackle climate change through sustainability, smart agriculture, disaster prediction, energy optimization, carbon tracking, waste management, and environmental monitoring.
Improve accessibility, assistive technology, language translation, financial inclusion, digital accessibility, public services, and community empowerment.
Have an impactful AI idea that doesn't fit the above categories? Submit it under Open Innovation, provided it addresses a meaningful real-world problem.
